Rules and Regulations of Edocsil Argetlam

Here at EA, we want everyone to have fun and be safe while enjoying the magic of Eragon. The following rules which will be in color are those that you must always follow. In the post that follows will be the discipline system here at Edocsil Argetlam.

Make sure to read these rules over clearly and if you have any questions please post them in the King's Castle question forum.

General
1. No bashing of any sort toward other members and staff. Here at EA we do not care what color, race, religion, sexuality, or anything of that sort of what you are. We are just here to have a good time.

2. Do not SPAM. Learn more about spam in the spam section.

3. Follow all rules and what staff say.

4. Have Fun! If you dont, bad things could happen.

Post/Threads/PMs
1. All post must be at least three lines long(when posted). We have this limit to keep SPAM under control. We know that not all topics can be good enough for three lines, and that is fine. Just keep it to a minimum.

2. You are aloud to use curse words, but keep it to a minimum. If it gets out of hand, we will put a filter on.

3. Keep pictures to a minimum. If you make a art thread then please only how three images, please link the rest.

4. No double posting. This is considered SPAM and will be deleted. All you have to do is click edit if you were the last one to post in that thread.

5. Before posting a thread, make sure you use the search option to make sure there is no other thread like it.

6. If you need a thread moved just ask one of the staff and they will be more than happy to move it for you.

7. No chain PM's. This gets annoying to people and most dont like it, so dont start any.

Users/Accounts
1. DO NOT make two accounts. All you need is one and if we found out about you having a second it will be deleted.

2. You are aloud to have a name change every three months. If you want a name change all you must do is post in the name change thread in the forum, Town Messenger.

3. When you get your names changed, it can not be something that involves murder, pornographic material, or any Eragon Character. The original Character names are reserved for Staff. If you pick it where there are symbols that is fine.

SPAM
1. SPAM means, Stupid, Pointless, Annoying, Messages. No one likes SPAM so DONT DO IT.

2. Try to keep chat speak to a minimum. Most people either dont know what it means or are from another country and it makes reading post hard to read.

3. All SPAM that staff find or is reported to them, they will delete it. So do us a favor and dont do it.

Signatures/Avatar
1. When it comes to Signatures, keep all banners within the range of 500 by 200 pixels. You can only have two banners in your signature at a time.

2. If you want nothing but text keep it to 20 lines.

3. No sparkles, blinkies, or any of the kind in Signatures. They do get distracting.

4. If a staff sees a problem with your signature they will remove it, and notify you by PM.

5. As for avatars, it has its own limit to how big it can be, please keep it within the range it says when you go to upload.

6. No pornographic, murder, bashing or any of the kind in signatures and avatars.

Here at EA, we have a very simple set of rules. But of course, there are always those who dont want to follow them so we have come up with a system that will hopefully encourage everyone to follow the rules.

Warning points
1. If you do any of the following you will get a warning point.

• Double Accounts
  
• Bashing someone
  
• Showing disrespect to a member or fellow staff member.
  
• Advertising a website in any shape or form.
  
• Adhesive cursing

2. You are only allowed three warnings/points before you get a ban point.


Bannings and Ban points
1. If you get three warnings you will be banned for 5 days.

2. Ban points are for when you reach three, and you are permanently banned. No coming back.

• 3 Warnings= 1 Ban Point
  
• 1 Ban point= 5 days ban
  
• 2 Ban points= 15 days ban
  
• 3 Ban points= That it, your out. No coming back.

So please everyone, follow the rules and your wont have to worry about this discipline system.
